2023 Sustainability Report
As is well known, Allegrini has long since embarked on a path towards the creation of sustainable value, through a series of activities aimed at making sustainability the core around which the company strategy is developed.
It is therefore with great pleasure that we present to you our third Sustainability Report, renewed in structure and content, which confirms Allegrini's decision to pursue with determination the path of growth that integrates the creation of economic value with the dimensions of environmental sustainability, social responsibility and ethics in corporate governance.
This spirit, which has always guided Allegrini's story, has been recognised and rewarded by Corriere della Sera, which awarded the company the special mention 'Best precise definition of ESG growth objectives' as part of the 'Sustainability Report 2023' award, for clearly defining its policies for improvement in relation to ESG dimensions.
Below are the most important activities completed in 2023 by Allegrini for a more sustainable future:
• The entry into full operation of the wastewater recovery plant, which allows optimising the use of water resources;
• The development of a formula for the production of cosmetic products whose active ingredients and fragrances are made from natural ingredients;
• The achievement of UNI/PdR 125:2022 Gender Equality Certification, as a tangible expression of our commitment to spreading a culture focused on the promotion of female empowerment and inclusion without discrimination.

We would also like to take this important opportunity to announce that Allegrini has recently been awarded the Silver medal in the Ecovadis rating, a result that places us in the top 15% of the most virtuous companies (assessed in the last 12 months).
EcoVadis provides reliable global corporate sustainability assessments. Companies of all sizes and from all over the world rely on EcoVadis to monitor and improve the sustainability performance of their operations and business partners. The assessment process analyses the actions implemented by the company and is carried out through the completion of a questionnaire divided into four corporate macro-areas: environment, ethics, labour practices and human rights, and sustainable procurement. By obtaining the Silver medal from Ecovadis, Allegrini takes another concrete step towards a more sustainable future.
Lastly, as proof of the commitment to the adoption and dissemination of ethical principles and compliance with regulations in the performance of all company activities by all staff, Allegrini was awarded the Legality Rating by the Italian Antitrust Authority, pursuant to Article 2, paragraph 1, of the Regulation adopted by the Antitrust Authority with resolution no. 28361 of 28 July 2020, with a score of *** (3 stars), out of a maximum of *** (3 stars). This recognition represents a significant sign of the non-self-referential nature of the attention paid to the ethical management of the business and an opportunity to measure oneself against third parties, in order to identify possible areas of intervention with a view to fostering continuous improvement, in line with the company's philosophy.
