Sustainability Report 2024

For some time now, Allegrini’s growth model has been based on the principles of environmental sustainability, social responsibility and ethical governance in the running of our business.

Each day, we continue our journey towards the creation of sustainable value, and we are therefore pleased to share with you our fourth Sustainability Report: the reporting tool that presents the values, results and actions undertaken in the field of sustainability throughout 2024.

Our sustainability strategy has been strengthened through the update of the materiality analysis, which helped identify the priority topics for the company and its stakeholders. These have been developed according to several key areas: energy consumption and emissions, water and waste management, people’svalue, upplychainresponsibility, ethics and integrity.

Among the various initiatives undertaken, our commitment to environmental sustainability has been demonstrated through the optimisation of consumption, with 14% of total energy needs met through self-produced energy from the photovoltaic system installed on the roof of our Grassobbio headquarters. On the social side, this commitment translated into actions aimed at the personal and professional growth of our employees, with the delivery of numerous training courses (a total of 3,157.25 hours of training, marking a 92% increase compared to 2023), including collaborations with external organisations such as Fondazione Libellula.

As regards our products, we maintained a strong focus on quality and safety standards. The Cosmetics Business Line launched two new amenities lines: Amoenia - certified Cosmos Organic and Cosmebio - and Find Your Eco - developed in line with Ecolabel regulations. Meanwhile, the Professional Cleaning Business Line expanded its range of ultra-concentrated detergents - offering higher effectiveness with lower environmental impact - as well as its range of ECOLABEL-certified detergents, produced using plant-based raw materials.

In terms of governance, ALLEGRINI continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to the processes of selection, assessment and management of supplier relationships, while also ensuring compliance with ethical standards in competition, sector regulations, and data privacy protection across all business activities.
